'Pendrive', the movie is being produced jointly by the governments of India and Bangladesh, the director of the movie is Mukul Rai Chowdhury from Kolkata. The movie is being produced by Impress Telefilms limited on behalf of Bangladesh. Faridur Reja Shagor, the managing director of Impress Telefilms said that, 'The story of the movie is based upon the Sundarbans. Hopefully, the two bengals(Bangladesh&Kolkata) will make up a good movie.'
Sources say that, Anika Kabir Shokh, Chanchal Chowdhury, Sohel Khan, Dr. Azaz and a few other prominent Bangladeshi actors have acted in this movie. We have known that the story is about a group of boys and girls who comes from Kolkata to see the parts of Sundarban that lies in Bangladesh. That start to do various researches on the Sundarbans and then the latter part of the story starts.
Ibne Hasan Khan, Marketing producer of Channel I said that,' basically, when the prime minister of India, Mr. Manmohan Singh came to Bangladesh a few days ago, the prime ministers of the two countries signed a contract to improve the state of being of the Sundarbans. We want to exhibit the beauty of the Sundarbans to the whole world under the directions of Impress Telefilms, which is why the film is being made. We have had primary talks with the actors, hope to finalize the deals with them soon. We will also request for the permission to make this movie to the governments of the two countries, hope to start making the movie from next year.'
