Drug-Interviews: YABA
‘Drug-Interviews’ is an experimental project of Youthsparks.com where we interview people addicted to different drugs. The motto is to familiarize youth of Bangladesh with the catastrophic effects of drugs on the lives and minds of the youth.
Shagor (Not his real name) has been a Yaba addict since 2007, we requested him for an interview and after promising that his real identity will not be disclosed, he talked to us about his ‘Addict Life’:
Q. So, Tell us why and how did you start taking Yaba?
Well, I started taking Yaba just like any other kid. I used to go to a very renowned English Medium School in Uttara; my parents used to trust me a lot financially and I was kind of like the rich kid in class, I used to lend money to my friends and forget about it. You know how it is in high school, when I started grade-9; I hooked up with this girl from my school, I had friends and ‘Boro Bhaais’, whenever there was a brawl or a fight, the so-called ‘Boro Bhaais’ used to come to the rescue and in return me and my friends used to pay them occasionally. I knew that these ‘Boro Bhaais’ and some of my friends used to consume Yaba regularly and sometimes they would come to me almost begging for money to have Yaba, I used to give them the money and forget about it.
Time went on and after just two months from the time I started grade-9, I took up smoking because my girlfriend thought that it was ‘COOL’ for guys to smoke, having regular ‘Genjaam’s(Brawls) with kids from other schools, I had lost my virginity, and I began wearing my pants way below the waist line. Apparently, the only thing that was right with me at that moment was being mentally strong enough to say no to ‘DRUGS’, that was…. till I found out that my girlfriend was a multiple-timing whore; when I first came to know that my girlfriend was cheating behind my back, it hit me like ‘Shorbo Bangladesh 10 Tonne’ truck, you know what I mean? It was kind of like a series of punches on the balls! It was that bad!! So, the EMO phase of my life started, I started chain-smoking, ripping my hand open with an anti-cutter and I was doing very badly in terms of education. My disgraceful friends took the advantage and asked me to join their ‘Buzzing Party’ and I thought ‘Well, my life is already a piece of shit! So, how worse could it get?’ and that is how it started.
Q. And your experience after consuming Yaba?
Well, the first time after I had Yaba, I started feeling like SUPERMAN, I mean, I felt very strong, good, and happy; exhilarating experience, I could concentrate on my studies like I have never done before. I did not sleep for the night and the next day at school, I bragged to everyone that I had Yaba and all of a sudden, I became this very fearful and popular personality amongst my class and I loved the attention.

Q. Tell us more about that Initial phase and where did you get the money for the drugs?
The initial phase was great; I began taking Yaba more often than not. Each and every hang out that me and my friends would turn out into a ‘Party’ where we would eventually end up having Yaba. At first, I used to study after having Yaba and I began getting good grades too, but as the days went on, my grades hit the rock bottom, but I did not give a flying fuck about education and continued having Yaba. And the money? That, I used to steal from my parents. Either it was out of my father’s shirt-pocket or my mom’s purse or the closet where they kept money. Often, I used to get caught after taking the money, my parents used to shout at me or ground me, but I just did not care. I just had to take Yaba and I was willing to do a lot, if not anything, to continue having Yaba. On some weeks, I used to spend as much as 7,000 taka on Yaba, more specifically on GP.
Q. What is GP?
Well, yeah, GP. There are a lot of classes of Yaba: There is ‘Doc’ or ‘Chompa’ or ‘Straw’ which is like the cheapest Yaba and it costs around 250tk, then there is ‘Super Straw’ which costs around 300tk, and then there is ‘GP’ or ‘R’ or ‘WN’ which will cost you like 700tk nowadays, but those days we used to get it for 400tk. Simply speaking, the better quality 'Shits' cost more than the bad quality 'Shits' and GP and R are the best of Yabas. However, after the drug raids by the temporary government during 2007-2008; the prices skyrocketed to as much as 1400Tk!! And what’s more shocking is that we were even willing to spend 1400tk on one single piece of Yaba!

Q. Fast forwarding a few years, come to recent times, now you live in Dhanmondi and its been 5 years after your initial phase of taking Yaba, how are times now?
You know, times change, people change, but a yaba addict is always an Yaba addict. If you are not born with IMMENSE and I MEAN GIFTED ‘MENTAL STRENGTH’, you will never be able to quit Yaba. I will elaborate, there were a lot of people who used to take ‘Yaba’ with me, the number is over 100 and till this day, I have only come to know one person who could quit Yaba; the rest just gave their lives away to this SHIT! Some of them even passed away just because of this SHIT! (He said these words with a smile on his face, but with tear-filled eyes)
My family shifted from Uttara just because of me, but when I came to Dhanmondi, things took a turn for the worst! You know, the Yaba scene in Dhanmondi is bigger than Uttara. There are dealers in every road, in every coaching centre; I personally know 3 drug dealers only living in Dhanmondi Road#11/a, all dealing Yaba!! And, the Yaba that one gets nowadays are of the worst kind, these ‘sons of bitches’ dealers mix Heroin with Yaba nowadays to make it more addictive. There are drug labs in Mohammadpur where they make Yaba from ingredients of Toilet Cleaners, batteries and what not.. They sell it by the name of ‘Super Straw’ for 200-300tk a piece.
Q. Can you describe the Yaba scene now?
The Yaba scene now is the worst of what I have seen in my entire lifetime, you get to see kids from grade-8 dealing Yaba, earning money and having Yaba with that money. In every friend circle, there is this ‘Madarchod’* friend who will get his friends to have Yaba by saying things like ‘Yaba makes you cool and concentrate on your studies or helps you get good grades’ and that ‘Madarchod’ friend only does that so he himself can sell Yaba to his friends and get money to have Yaba himself!! There are incidents of friends being mugged by other friends for Yaba, incidents of friends stealing money from other friends because of Yaba, incidents of friends blackmailing friends for Yaba and the cycle goes on. And when parents realize that their son/daughter is taking Yaba, they send them to Rehab for a certain period of time, people get out of Rehab, hang out with their FUCKED UP* friends and then start chasing Yaba again.
By this time Shagor was getting pretty restless for his daily dose of Yaba so we decided to sum it up with one question,
Q. Even after realizing how harmful it is, why do you still keep on doing it?
Well, as I said, I am addicted man! I was an addict from the first time I had it, and now I just cant leave it. I have Yaba one day, I wake up the whole night, the next day, I just have to chase Yaba (Chasing Yaba is a method of Having Yaba using a foil, a pipe and a lighter) or else, how am I going to continue my day? I know that this has destroyed my life, I was thrown out of the house, my parents who loved me so much once now act like I am not their son………………………………………………………………………………. (He broke into tears).. my friends are in universities, some of them even got into BUET and you know what? I used to be the best student amongst them… They pretend like they don’t even know me anymore…………… I don’t have any friends, no family, only this shit left in my life (Saying this, he took out a zipper with 4 to 5 Yabas inside).... If only I had not started taking it in Uttara............... (sigh)
And with tears dropping out of his eyes, he picked up the thin strip of Aluminium foil kept in front of him, he carefully placed the red coloured pill on it, put the pipe in his lips and clicked the lighter and as I watched him chase the pill on the foil, I thought to myself ‘Was he taking in the smoke or was it the smoke taking him in?’

Agent Vinod Proving to be Too Complicated for Audience...
Agent Vinod opened dull at many centres,” says trade analyst Komal Nahta. “Given the weak reports, it seems headed for losses. The cost was too high and the collections are low in comparison. The collections over the weekend are approximately Rs 27.5 to Rs 28 crores.”
There are several reasons why the film is not doing well, says trade analyst Amod Mehra. “One, it’s not strong in single screen theatres,” he says. “The masses and small towns are not understanding the film at all. Whatever footfalls you see are in the multiplexes. And two, there is no growth in numbers from the opening day to the weekend. That indicates the first weekend rush started but didn’t multiply. And Monday’s early morning collections are very bad, which indicates the film will not hold on.”
Though the Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer has no competition next week since no major films are releasing on Friday, Mehra doesn’t believe Agent Vinod can sustain itself at the box office. “Even Players (2012) had a clear field,” he says. “What happened? If the film is not good, it will not sustain. For a film made at a high budget, Agent Vinod has an extremely bad count. It will not be able to hold on.”
Sanjay Ghai, who heads the film production, distribution and exhibition firm Mukta Arts Ltd (Delhi), says, “Delhi and UP have made Rs 6 crore. If this were a low budget film, this figure would have been good for them. But given the production cost of this film, the money it’s making across India is not good.”
For Saif, however, Agent Vinod has provided the biggest opening weekend he has had to date. Says Dinesh Vijayn of Illuminati Films, producers of Agent Vinod, “The film has got Saif the biggest opening so far. His last big opening was Love Aaj Kal (2009), which opened at Rs 27 crores.”

Vijayn has a slightly different take on the film’s numbers so far. He says, “The film made Rs 9.8 crores on the first day, Rs 10.2 crores on the second day and Rs 10 crores on the third day day. Agent Vinod was made at a cost of Rs 50 crores and we spent Rs 12 crores on promotions. So the total cost is Rs 62 crores. The music of the film has been sold at Rs 9 crores and satellite rights for seven years for Rs 21 crores.”
A distributor who did not wish to be named blamed the film’s poor box office showing on instant reviews and reactions put out by the country’s social networkers. “A good film normally takes a 20 per cent higher opening on Saturday and Sunday,” he says, “But the bad word of mouth and poor storyline has worked against the film. We got some scary and nasty forwards about the film on our phones.”

Saw Agent Vinod! Kya agent hai, haath chalaata hai, laath chalaata hai, bandook chalaata hai, gaadi chalata hai, helicopter bhi chalaata hai, lekin afsos yeh film nahi chala payega.
ACP Pradyuman from CID could have solved the Agent Vinod case in 30 minutes and at 1/1000th the budget.
Band in Focus(Bangladesh): Rajotto
Being a patriot is not about overlooking all the problems in your country and uttering out ‘loving remarks’ about your country. NO, its about discussing about its problems, making people aware, and constantly attempting to make things better. Saying that, Youthsparks.com is proud to present you the stories of two patriotically rebellious, musical geniuses, CK TOFF (Towfique) and Faisal Roddy. Both of them were affiliated with music from a very young age and as the sands of time flowed, they both moved on to the United Kingdom where they came across each other and formed their joint venture Rajotto.

From the very beginning, Rajotto’s stance was against corruption, abject poverty, and with lyrics consisting of words from the vast range of Bengali vocabulary; their fusion Hip Hop songs soon won the hearts of almost each and every Bengali hip hop listener out there. Their two most popular tracks Bidrohi and Desh O Durniti had been widely praised by listeners all over the world and the music videos that followed to these two tracks were also big hits. Desh O Durniti is a track that will touch the hearts of any Bangladeshi, with a touch of rock music on the beats, melodious hooks by Faisal Roddy while CK Toff literally scorches the beat with his gifted flow, and words that are as true as it gets. I can personally guarantee that the lyrics of this track will flabbergast even the most stone hearted corrupted politician out there. The track Bidrohi is also a track against corruption and war criminals, where the artists give a warning to the war criminals and politicians about public trials and revolutions, both the tracks are musical masterpieces; the music video of Desh O Durniti is cinematographically flawless and comprises of scenes that will get your eyes moist. Scroll Down to the bottom to watch the music video.
Take a Listen to Rajotto's Track 'Bidrohi':
Other tracks by Rajotto such as Atto Kothon, Protisruti, etc also share the same message against corruption, hypocrisy, injustice, and difference of social classes; all with a different approach, but all share the same shameful truth about our beloved motherland. While their track Nagordola familiarizes the audience familiarizes the audience with the versatility this awesome duo can produce, with a more softer and romantic touch in the song.
Take a Listen to Rajotto's Track 'Nagordola':
Rajotto is an example that every youngster should follow, whether you want to be a musician or not, whether you want to be a rapper/emcee or not, doesn’t matter, the point is to do something for your country; how you want to do that depends completely upon you. But do remember something, since the time you were born, your country has provided you with a lot, if you don’t think of doing something for it and giving something back to it. Then, well, you are what they call a SELFISH BASTARD! (I really could not find a better phrase). We urge every musician out there to follow Rajotto's footsteps and make songs regarding the country; music inspires, music reveals, music revolts, and as of now, our latest generations are in dire need of their eyes being opened to all the truth regarding our nation.

As for now, youthsparks.com gives Mr. Faisal Roddy and CK Toff, the utmost of respect. And, with an intense dedication towards Bangladesh, aggressive approach in music with the words being the epitome of truth, Rajotto is our Band in Focus (Bangladesh) for the month of February.

Twitter Campaign by a Guy to Take Justin Bieber to Prom!!! (This One's Just For Laughs!)
Justin Bieber has for a long time possessed the largest and most fanatically loyal and worshipful fan base in the world. One such dedicated belieber is now waging an all-out campaign to get the Teen Dream to attend the 'belieber's'(Justin Bieber fans are apparently called 'Beliebers'!!) prom in June 2012. So what? Isn't that every girl's dream? (Girls with brains the size of Ping Pong balls?) Yes(!!!), but this belieber is a boy, and he's refusing to take no for an answer.
Leon Purvis apparently took the title of Justin Bieber hit film, Never Say Never, to heart. Because Purvis is determined to get JB to accompany him to his prom, and he's not about to give up until it happens.
It all started back in June when Leon made a video, which you can watch below, asking JB to go to his prom as a "bro." Leon is one of JB's biggest fans, and he wanted the Baby singer to have the experience of attending a "normal prom."
"The idea came to me when I was at pre-prom last year to see my sister off, and I was talking to a kid that was going. At the time I was thinking about what girl I wanted to ask, and he said, 'Who are you going to ask? Justin Bieber?' I thought it was a good idea because I admire him and all he's accomplished for being so young. I've been a fan ever since his YouTube days." ( Remarks: Things that occur when you dont get sarcasm!!!)
Sadly, that video didn't produce the desired results, but Leon hasn't given up. He's organized a committee of his friends and fellow beliebers, and together they are "wearing shirts, posting flyers and signing banners to promote Trending Day. If enough people tweet or re-tweet #GuyAsksJustinBieberToPromOnYouTube on the Trending Day — Dec. 27 beginning at 12:10 a.m. — the tweet could become a trending topic and garner more media attention."
So there you have it. Leon is a man(!) with a plan, and he's taking steps to achieve his dream. Alas, Justin Bieber's reaction to Leon's #GuyAsksJustinBieberToPromOnYouTube Twitter campaign remains unknown. So far, there's been no word from Biebs or his reps. However, a JB fan site is conducting a poll which asks a single question: "Do you think Justin Bieber should go to Leon Purvis' Prom?" So far, a 59.12% majority voted "Yes!" Only 40.88% responded "Eww! No!"
Original article from celebs.gather.com, the parts in the brackets are by me.
You can watch Leon Purvis' original video below.
Band in Focus(USA): Framing Hanley
Upon entering college, two passionate musicians, Chris Vest (drums) and Luke McDuffe (bass) met potential vocalist Kenneth Nixon. The three of them founded the band ‘Embers Fade’, while guitarists Brandon Wooten and Tim Huskinson joined the lineup soon after. Little did they know that the formation of ‘Embers Fade’ will potentially set the foundation for one of the legends of post-grunge music in the near future, a legend called ‘Framing Hanley’ (Think I am exaggerating? Well, Read on…)
Embers Fade used to practice in Chris’s Basement, and recorded a few demo of their songs which they put up in the internet via their myspace account. In November 2006, these demos were discovered by Brett Hestla, former Creed bassist and frontman of Dark New Day. Hestla helped the young Nashville based quintet record a 2 song demo in his Florida studio which he showed to Jeff Hanson (Creed, Sevendust, Paramore) and his record label Silent Majority Group.and the former drummer Mandy Sinewy In an interview with HitQuarters Hanson said he "flipped out" when he heard the song "Hear Me Now" and decided immediately he wanted to sign them . The following day he went to see the band play in Nashville and claims that in his rush to secure the band's signatures he wrote up their deal on a napkin. Hanson became not only their label boss but also their manager. Meanwhile, the band adopted a new name to pay tribute to Ashley Hanley, a close friend who had died in a car accident in late 2006. The band released their debut album ‘The Moment’ in 2007, and re-released in August 2008. The album stood out as a proof to music listeners of the extraordinary talent and vision that this band shared. Their songs ‘Hear Me Now’ and ‘Lollipop (Cover of Lil Wayne’s Song)’ immediately earned praise; while songs like ‘Alone in this Bed’ and ‘Wave Goodbye’ familiarized the listeners to the depth that this band could provide through music. A couple of months prior to the re-release of the bands’ debut album Huskinson exited the band and was replaced by guitarist Ryan Belcher, who joined just in time to record the cover version of ‘Lollipop’(Put in as a bonus track in the re-release of their debut album).

In early November 2009, Framing Hanley entered the studio to start working on the sophomore record, "A Promise to Burn." In an interview with alternativeaddiction.com, lead singer Kenneth Nixon stated that “The album tells a story that a lot of us have been through, where you have to have everything taken away from you before you can be humbled and know how lucky you are, it’s sad that it’s like that, but it’s true in a lot of people’s cases." Nixon says the band has a lot to prove with the new album, foremost that the band is more than just ‘that rock band that covered Lil Wayne's song "Lollipop." “Three years later when one song that they are remembering you for is a cover song, it kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth,” said Nixon. “That song did a lot of things for our band, but it was really just something that we were doing for fun.” Nixon says the band was discouraged when the band re-released their debut single “Hear Me Now” following the success of “Lollipop” and saw very little response. It leaves us with something to prove on this record. We are not just a band that covers songs, we want to prove we are a band that writes rock songs that we care about, and that is what we did with this record.” In December 2009, the band won the Best Modern Rock Band at the Top In Rock Awards.

The band released their 2nd Album ‘Promise to Burn’ on 25th May, 2010, the album did not take time to hit international music headlines with Out of This World songs like ‘WarZone’ and ‘You Stupid Girl’. Although, the album did not win the hearts of critics, but the album did win the hearts of youth all throughout the world because of the relevancy of the album to Youth life in general.
Current line-up:
Brandon - Guitar
Ryan - Guitar
Luke - Bass
Chris - Drums

With a talent that cannot be denied, pieces of real-life portrayed through their lyrics, music that is as good as it gets (The drums, the guitar, the vocal…. AWESOME! ALL OF THEM!), and with a love for music, ‘Framing Hanley’ is Youthsparks’ Band in Focus(USA).

Prevent the Invaders of Privacy (Perverts)
The perverts are a special breed of people who manage to get sexually aroused by the most ordinary and random events through their 'vivid 'imagination. They are present in both sexes, but are mostly men (Not sexually discriminating, just stating the facts), throughout history, perverts have managed to awestruck the ordinary people through their twisted and weird acts. NEWSFLASH!!! THEY ARE BACK AGAIN!! This time, they have taken the means of Facebook pages where they upload photos of random girls from Facebook, their accomplices join them in this pathetic act by ‘liking’ the Facebook page, uploading some more random photos, and before you know it, you find photos of your friends or family members in some random page of Facebook where they are being called ‘bitch’, ‘slut’, or ‘horny’ just because she is wearing T-Shirt and Jeans!

Well, to be honest, there are no methods of preventing the ‘people who need help’ (THE PERVERTS) from committing these type of low-lived and pathetic acts. But the ladies can actually be on the safe side by following a couple of steps:
1. Unfriend the people you do not know or trust from your Facebook friends right now!
Frankly speaking, all of us may have added up people who we do not know when we founded our Facebook accounts, but well, now is the time to let go off them. The pervs(Short for perverts) have hundreds of people who aid them in these pathetic acts (A few of them are girls, the VERY JEALOUS ONES!), if one of those ‘helps’ are in your friend list, you will probably end up in one of these pages! So, get rid of the ones that you do not feel ‘safe’ with!
2. Set the highest possible privacy on your photos:
Please do not set up the privacy of your photos to ‘Public’, change it to ‘Only Friends’ or customize it. If you have ‘Controversial Photos’ (I guess you know what I am trying to say) in your account, you may want to put better restriction to those photos. Or better yet, consider removing them from Facebook.
A common mistake that everyone make is by asking people to report a certain page by giving the link to those pages in other pages or in Event walls. By giving the link and asking others to report it, YOU ARE ONLY GIVING THE PAGE MORE PUBLICITY!! This is because more people actually go on to 'like' the page and not report it. And, even if you manage to get enough reports (TRUST ME, YOU NEED A LOT OF ‘REPORTS’ TO MAKE FACEBOOK AUTHORITY PAY ATTENTION) to deactivate a certain page, there’s a high chance that the admin (who is probably a lonely 40 year old pedophile, having a 10,000tk/month job, an adequate amount for him to afford an internet connection) will create a new page and upload the photos there! You might report one when you see one to give yourself a sense of mental satisfaction, but seeing it from a logical point of view, it does not really make sense! Although, if you manage to get a page with a lot of 'likes' removed from Facebook by means of reporthing, you might want to give yourself a pat on the back for it.

A request to all the ladies out there, please do not deactivate your facebook accounts fearing these pervs because that will probably motivate those pervs even more!
Concluding, I would like to give a fun fact: The pervs think that by uploading these photos and invading everyone’s privacy they are doing the country a favor!!! Just like murderers demand to be saviors; rapists demand to be social activists; burglars demand to be Robin Hoods… (I can go on forever!)
Express your opinions in the comment section, let us know of other ways to prevent Pervs! Just keep it sober (in a linguistic sense!)
Share if you think that it’s worth it!

Band in Focus: Blunderware
Music that comes straight out from the soul is always the best type of music. Nowadays, Soul music is very rare, with all the seriousness, fame-hunting, hardcore music around; it’s refreshing to see a group of men stepping up to do music for the sake of loving it and not to get anything out of it. The group of men all play in a band called ‘Blunderware’. To be honest, I really am having a hard time to describe the band Blunderware in brief, but for now, lets keep you satisfied by saying "it’s a band formed by five extremely talented musicians with a fabulous sense of humor and an unusual affection towards underwares(or in their language ‘Chaddis’) :D"

The potential of this childlike humor loving band was realized by music lovers with the release of ‘Aashor(A band Mixed Album)’ where Blunderware’s first single ‘Afim Chaash’ was placed. I do not have a lot of knowledge about music, hence I cannot use the terms that music critics would use to describe the song ‘Afim Chaash’, all I know is that after a very hefty day, I came back home, listened to the song for the first time and over the next hour I had listened to this song for at least 10 times. I got so indulged into the song and was singing the chorus ‘Nesha toh Jailonaa’ out so loud that my mom started giving me skeptical looks (I am pretty sure that she was thinking of sending me to Rehab). The soothing essence of folk music, the spontaneous singing by the vocal, and the rhythm provided by the instruments all around is the perfect blend; a flawless masterpiece. If you are having a hard time and looking for relaxation; wear your earphones, play ‘Afim Chaash’, it will relieve you of all your stress. It’s like a spa to your mind.
Listen to Blunderware's First Single 'Afim Chaash':
After the hype created by ‘Afim Chaash’, the band followed it up with the release of their second single ‘Mosharir Ei Din Raatre’. Although a tad bit different from their first single, this track speaks of the versatility that this band is capable of providing. The lyrics of this song is more complex and deep in contrast to that of ‘Afim Chaash’, nonetheless, it has got a certain naive essence attached to it and the song is very likeable.
The sense of humor that this band possesses is very admirable. To give you an idea of their humor, here is a part from the info of the Blunderware page on facebook:
Genre: B.A.R.F.I. (Blues.Alternative.Rock.Funk.Indie)
Description: Mushfiq just let out a dim pada (literally: egg fart, also known as Hridoy Bhuna Khichuri Mix) in the lift with all five of us inside, as we were descending from his flat in Chittagong. We nearly died in the process, but as we lived to tell the tale, we also realized that we were in this together, and together, we would survive millions more of Mushfiq's breakfast egg tinged gas leaks. From that b...lunder onwards, Blunderware came into being. We promise you that we will make you wet your underpants with our awesome music. No, that didn't come out right. Ah well, always remember, it is you who wears the pants, not the other way around. Stay safe, and please, don't try this at home. With monkeys, or women. Please.
Band Interests: Blunderbitchslapping, Shanto's head slapping, Delishas er kabab, house building er chafee. Did i mention Blunderbitchslapping?
Added to these, the band will also make you laugh during their concert performances, like the time they performed a mini version of ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ in The Wireless Sessions (Click Here to watch it). So, Yeah, you get my point…

Bite My Music is an organization from different countries who promote deserving small time musicians. They have hosted other awards, but the IndieGo is limited to South Asian indie artists. In recent times, they released the nominees for different categories in the IndieGo Music Awards, we are proud to announce that three of the nominees in three different categories are Bangladeshi! The Bangladeshi Nominees are:
Blunderware(Best Rock Group):
The rock music scenario of Bangladesh is often considered to be the best amongst all other countries in South-East Asia. Although, there are many obstacles blocking the way of emerging musicians in our country, the bands compensate for the problems with their talents, imagination and passion to make good music. Adding to the legendary tally of great musicians in the mainstream, there are a few bands in the underground music scene that also possess the ability of making jaws open up wide with their music. Blunderware is one of those bands.
As the name suggests, the band likes a touch of humor. However, when you listen to their music, you will know that this extremely gifted band has more depth than you would ever be able to imagine. The artistic vision that this band share amongst themselves was revealed to listeners with the release of their first single ‘Afim Chaash’. We have embedded the reverbnation player to the track ‘Afim Chaash’ below; take a listen if you have not listened to it before. After listening to the track, I guess you will all agree when I say that this track might be a tad bit more addictive than ‘Afim’ itself! The track might give you the idea that the band is related to folk music, but when you listen to Blunderware’s 2nd Single ‘Moshari’r Ei Din Raatri’, you will be acquainted with the versatility that this band acquires.
